Hi all, I'm new to this community.

Small bio: I'm a college student just beginning to develop my creative writing into full works of short story and prose.

Problem: Lately, I've been having a hell of a time writing prose and (I imagine) my creative writing has been suffering as well. When I was at my old junior college, I found that while I was writing I had a real emotional connection to my words. When I would write, it would build up emotions in me and I would really feel empassioned about what I was working on and the end result was writing that inspired those same feelings in my reader. Since I transferred (or maybe before that for all I know) I've not been able to awaken that same feeling of sublime literary prowess that I once had.

Has anyone else felt this emotional bond to their words and/or learned how to produce an emotional response within yourself while you write so that your writing is more passionate? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!
